Selectboard approves spending for public safety, legal review, and harbor appointments.

Gosnold Selectboard authorizes solid waste truck purchase and approves legal review costs. The board unanimously approved up to $40,000 for a new solid waste truck, with a special town meeting required to appropriate the funds, and approved payment of $7,432.50 to Partridge Snow & Hahn, LLP, for legal review of the Avalon organization. Madeline Lynch was unanimously appointed Assistant Harbormaster and Dockmaster.

The board also accepted two $10,000 donations from The White Companies Charitable Trust for solid waste beautification and scheduled a Water Commissioner public hearing to address a $90-per-meter annual increase needed to cover a $13,000 budget increase.
